what is the ayurvedic re.set?

My ayurvedic re.set class is a four-week experiential workshop, where we problem-solve and use ayurvedic wisdom to address real-life, day-to-day challenges. ayurveda incorporates food as medicine, directed yoga and meditation techniques.

re.sets are a total of 4 classes that begin on the first Monday of the month at 5:30 pm.

Each class is 90 minutes

Are you brand new to ayurveda, but would like to take a re.set as soon as possible? 

No problem! Take my Intro to ayurveda class first. It is offered on the last Sunday of the month, so you’ll have a foundation in time to begin a re.set!

how is the ayurvedic re.set structured?

Each four-week ayurvedic re.set will have the following four sessions:

  • Class 1: Self-Assessment & Ayurvedic Theory
  • Class 2: Food as Medicine & Yoga
  • Class 3: Emotional Intelligence Meditations and Real-Life Problem Solving
  • Class 4: Seasonal Cleanse

Each ayurvedic re.set works directly with emotions and food to bring balance for that particular season.

For example, did you know peaches cool down your body to get rid of excess heat that can happen during summer? This makes them an idea food for August!

Also, there are certain oils that are best for your skin at certain times of the year.

In each 4-week course, we will be talking about which foods, oils, spices, and other natural medicines can help your body best navigate that particular season in the best way.

class: intro to ayurveda

get the basics before you start your re.set!

Have you heard about ayurveda and it’s just confusing or overwhelming? Do you know your dosha but you don’t know what to do now and you’d like to have more information? Did you do the dosha quiz and… well, now what? Would you like to learn how to actually use Ayurveda to help you?

Most people are introduced to Ayurveda by way of the dosha quiz. I don’t agree with this approach. A dosha quiz has you describe yourself in your imbalanced state. But we all have qualities of every dosha. So it doesn’t help to just figure out your dosha and address only those.

Instead, this class gives you the information you need to think and act from an ayurvedic perspective. We can accomplish this in the same amount of time

This is a 75 minute class where you learn to think and act from an ayurvedic perspective.

Intro to Ayurveda is last Sunday of every month at 5:30 pm.
